We are delighted to invite you to our wedding celebration and cannot wait to share the festivities with you.

We are very sorry, but we are keeping our special day as an adult-only occasion. We will not be able to invite children to our wedding during the day or evening, we hope that you will still be able to attend.

Getting There

Where it's going down

Ceremony:
St Andrews Church - Rectory Ln, Ampthill, Bedford, MK45 2EL

Reception:
The Stables @ The White Hart -
125 Dunstable St, Ampthill, Bedford, MK45 2NG

We would recommend local guests travel by taxi due to parking limitations.

Planes, trains and automobiles

Flitwick is the closest train station, just under 10mins drive from Ampthill and has a taxi rank on site.

Thameslink operates a train from Luton Airport Parkway to Flitwick every 20 minutes.

More information for those driving can be found below.

Daytime Guest Specific

The distance between the Church and The White Hart is a two minute downhill walk, so we are expecting most guests to walk to the reception following photos etc at the church. Transport arrangements have been made for those who may struggle with mobility, so please do let us know if you have any concerns with walking down and we will happily ensure you are included in this.
... we hope the sun has his hat on, but if its a rainy day we'll have umbrellas / waterproofs / extra transport runs at the ready.

Getting There

Parking

Please be aware that parking in Ampthill is tricky and residents often have to use on street parking. There is no parking available directly at the church, very limited space might be available in the residential road opposite.

Additionally a number of roads surrounding the centre have recently been changed to permit holders only.

We're expecting most local guests to get a taxi and would recommend this if possible.

For those driving or staying overnight in Ampthill, there is a pay and display carpark in the town centre, around the corner from The White Hart and 5 minutes walk to the Church.
The entrance is between Costa and Ampthill Tandoori, currently cars can be left overnight but please double check if using.

Waitrose car park allows for 3 hours in the long stay section at the very rear of the car park,
please be aware this is restricted to 1.5 hours in the main section. We have historically parked here overnight between 6pm - 6am with no issues, but please review yourself.
Bedford Street is adjacent to Waitrose and also has unrestricted parking bays but can be busy due to local residents parking.

Alameda Rd Car park is small but unrestricted and sits just off Woburn Street after the pedestrian crossing. On street parking can also be found further down near Ampthill Park
(either around 5-10 min walk to The White Hart).

Please map below for guidance.

Evening Guest Specific

Please note that the evening celebrations are being held at The Stables section of the
The White Hart, upon arrival it’s best to walk through the outdoor archway next to the pub entrance and head down alongside the venue (you will see signage and outdoor seating) – The Stables entrance is to the rear of the main building opposite the seated decking area.
